Fingerings for the Böhmflute

On this page you will finde a tabular display of the fingerings for a flute with closed gis-key.

The black brimmed keys are pressed. The key for the thumb is only shown differenciated if this is important for the fingering (many fingerings are indifferent regarding the use of only one half or both of the keys).

The fingerings shown are those basic ones, which are teached for beginners lessons. For a very comprehensive overview of many special fingerings (for intonation, complicated combinations etc.) there is a really good book: Grifflexikon der Boehmflöte
