Aurèle Nicolet

• Born on the 22nd of january 1926 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
• Student of Andrè Jaunet, Willy Burkhard and Marcel Moyse
• 1947 first price at the Paris conservatory
• 1948 first price at the concours at Geneva
• Flutist in orchestras in Winterthur and Zurich
• 1950 to 1959 solo flutist the Berlin philharmonics
• 1952 to 1965 professor at the academy for music in Berlin
• 1965 to 1981 head of the master class in Freiburg
• Besides a lot of international concerts.
