• Studying flute from 7th of decembre 1840 at the Paris conservatory ander Tulou
• 1841 2. award of the conservatory
• 1842 first award
• 1848 - 1872 first flutist at Paris opera
• 1868 - 1893 professor for flute at the Paris conservatory
• Composed a lot of pieces, etudes and an voluminous study for flute
• Death on the 24th of july 1895 (1889?) in Paris
