Moves to hungary with his brother. There flutist at the German theatre and later at the national theatre

Solo flustist of the Bucharest opera

Solo flute in Ofen, today a part of Budapest.

Flutist of the Hungary National Theatre

Co-founder of the Wiener Philharmonikder
1852
Performance with his brother Karl Doppler for a benefiz concert. Because of the great success, ten years of together touring follow.

Co-founder of Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra

Move to Vienna, first flute at the court opera

Conductor of the court theatre in Vienna

Lectorship at Vienna Music Academy

His only son dies at the age of 15

Break-up of flute playing because of asthma
Dear friend of Franz Schubert. He stayed with the wood flute all his live and never adapted to Böhms invention.

Dies in Baden near Vienna due to a stroke.
