The composer received a grant from the Ford Foundation for which he had to compose for secondary school music groups in Tucson, Arizona. The edition includes a short introduction to the movements by the composer and the times for playing it. Altogether about 5 minutes.

Verpackt in eine Art Büchlein, das mag ich sehr gern. Aufmachung sehr schön. Die Sonata Latino von Mower ist nicht nur ein schönes Stück, sondern auch perfekt in Stilistik und Zusammenspiel dargeboten. An manchen Stellen würde ich persönlich einen etwas dickeren Flötensound bevorzugen.
