At the qualifying examination at Budapest conservatory (composition class of Sándor Veress) acquaintance with Ligeti.
Studies of composition with Verress, Jardanyi and Farkas, piano with Pal Kadosa and chamber music with Leo Weiners.
1957
Scholarship for studies in Paris with Milhaud, Max Deutsch and Messiaen.
1959
Finishing work on Quintetto per fiati op. 2
1967
Professor at Budapest conservatory
1993
"Composer in residence" at the Berlin Philharmonics
