Private lessons from Julien Koszul in Roubaix and Eugène Gigout in Paris

Before he finishs his own studies, he becomes himself a teacher at the school. Among his students where beside others Varese and Satie. Bohuslav Martinu was musically influenced by him, too.

Monsieur de la Péjaudie is a literary character (La pecheresse by Henri de Regnier). In the story Péjaudie is a flute virtuoso, who starts new affairs all the time. At the end he is sent to a galley as a murderer and drowns.
