Conductor of the Kärtnertortheatre in Vienna

Composition of the opera "Oberon", which inspired Schikaneder to write the magic flute.
1790
"Director of the violin" of two imperial theaters in Vienna
Had an exchange of letters with Goethe, who asked him to compose a sequel of the Magic flute
1799
Conducts at the request of the composer the Schöpfung by Haydn

Dies in Vienna
