Born in Old-Benatek, son of a musician
Choir boy and pupil of a Jesuit high school in Prague
Worked in Vienne, Warsaw and Dresden after voice break playing the violin

Member of the chapell of Frederic the Great in Rheinsberg, together with his brother Johann Georg, Graun and Schaffrath
1740
With taking office of Frederic moving to Berlin with the whole court. Since this time, C arl Philipp Emmanuel Bachand Quantz belong to the chapel.

His brother Georg Anton was a composer, too. The daughter, Juliane, marries composer Reichardt and writes music herself, her husband supports this
